De Keyrel Racing headed North for the 4th of July

Travel VanDe Keyrel Racing headed North for the 4th of July weekend to race with the CRA at Brainerd International Raceway. The weekend was the largest spectator crowd in years and the racing that weekend will keep them coming back.

The weekend started out with the CRA granting Kaleb approval to ride a 600cc bike in practice. Thanks to John Anderson from Worldwide Machining and Welding, Kaleb had an R6 Kaleb fiding 600cc bike in practiceto impress the stewards and board members on. From there Kaleb was allowed to race the R6 that weekend. This was Kaleb’s second time on a 600cc bike and his first time racing it. John Anderson would race the bike in the Middleweight classes and allowed Kaleb to race it in the Heavy weight Super sport class. For the first time racing the 600cc bikes Kaleb did a great job showing that he deserved to be out there. Kaleb was pushing for the front. He ended up with an 8th place finish on Saturday and better that with a 5th place finish on Sunday.

Kaleb had support for the holiday weekendWith the weekend being a holiday weekend, De Keyrel had support for the weekend with Kaleb and Mason’s Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Paula, nieces, friends and sponsors. They all got to see Kaleb in racing action and Mason road at noon each day with “try the track.”Kaleb up front

A lot of people focused on Kaleb riding the bigger 600cc bike. He did not let up at all on the smaller MD 250. In the UL GP and UL SB classes Kaleb went undefeated for the weekend with four wins. In the UL Sportsman class Kaleb ran up front pushing for the lead and wound up short for second both days.
