De Keyrel Racing’s test at Barber Motorsports Park!

I went down to my favorite track Barber Motorsports Park with Sport Bike Tracktime to get some riding in before Daytona! I was super excited to get to ride Barber again, because the track and facility is just amazing! The elevation at Barber is like no other track it’s just super fun and flowing. Also, Sport Bike Track time always puts on an amazing event! So we started the 14 hour drive at 3am and got there friday night. We unloaded the van and made room for sleeping, then got a good nights rest for the amazing day to come! I got up and got my Cortech suit on right away for the 8 am rider meeting.

Intermediate was up first in the morning and then the experts followed. I went out in the morning and got a good feel for the track. I started out slow and began to build speed throughout the day. We made some suspension changes throughout the day and eventually came up with a really good set up for the AMA weekend.

Saturday, we found a good set up and then Sunday we fine tuned it. I was running really good lap times with a lot of traffic. There were some of the factory teams there and we were running right up with them, so it was a good weekend. I gained a lot of confidence going into Daytona! Huge thank you to Richard Harris at Sport Bike Track Time for letting us come ride with them!
