I feel like even&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>with all the work and effort myself and the team put in. We still let my&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sponsors down.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/Bgy6NxcJoQ90vvJf6VQ_3f3UV4OACI_sUY4weMDzJiomFIQDxrciqf9tCzZ4DpqUxHtVUkJz6jA2nRlagDujgwXeDYOBN3-M22cxJKzCTcEOfCsYF1RB6bWuJ6x5qgH_6CZ5UVqL\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The weekend started with leaving the house early Friday Morning to set up&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and get ready for practice. We shot a quick video to let everyone know we&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>were at the race and ready for the weekend. Practice started and I jumped&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>on track and was ready.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/ViI0p8DxjDROUSdAQcJWQw5lh5KMgIZWXmtlqASZ_T0qj8AMgNKXPGbbFhapHSx5Y5synfGnIazB8tg0Ged3T50RsvOrlXe2iixZFNDOt3RlHVbLkqCIpOi8aIY1H9M-GVFJAQFC\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The plan was to run in Automatic mode the first two laps to just get used to&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>driving again and then go to Manual mode and start pushing. I came&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>around to start my third lap of this new and super fun track that Brian with&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the Outlaw Racing series had built. There is a little roller into a corner right&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>at the finish so you try not to get too much air. I went off the roller and I&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>think the transmission lost itself in the air. I came down and it locked up for&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a second and went into neutral. I thought at first I blew it up. I was looking&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ahead and was just getting ready to run some laps with Jacob and Kory&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>from PPEI. My dad is telling me to go and get with them on the radio.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/2sscumgFZV4mbOHIHYXYrZqQ1Qk02HOgh6nSmC0wyeAIJj9B5zFLiRcaJ-EfuA7de6jh_gFvEqRLyFpOrTjGIvWgIwEyB8u28IR8XITHAw2eI4dgPdixFJMBtsf69y21OacISofU\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I told him it would not go. Was blown up. He asked me if it revved up. I&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>check and said yep. He said then it&#8217;s not blown up. He had me put it into&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>park and shut it all down. Then restart it. Still would not find gear. I got&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>towed back to our pit area and we tried to relearn the transmission two&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>times. Curtis and Cross Kirchmeier helped us and we could not get it to go&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>into any gear. I went over and talked with PPEI. Kory and Jacob came over.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We tried to relearn the transmission again but it was stuck. Seamed as&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>though a shift fork had bent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/uFaYj3umdHe7UtSN2qhvFhPy4f3BtDCVX9G5OE7cQNqquWm0bj1nOTLFcJ_G2GC-3CF9QmqPyOKyH5bbmhrKjJgyi94GrpjlleRv7q59I4KoQbgjbFdIWq9pyGbFY0BBzlcrXAUp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So much time and preparation has gone into this Honda Talon for this&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>season to make the jump up to Stock Expert and Outlaw Expert<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;(Turbo Class) We Lightened the car as much as we could. PPEI had lots of&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>time into it on the dyno. We had tested different fuels. ALPINESTARS,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RaceCo USA, Keizer Wheels and MPI were all new sponsor that came&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>aboard for this season. So I really feel like I let them down.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did not even stay and watch. We loaded up and head back to the shop&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday night and got to work pulling the engine out. It was a huge job. Now I&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>know why insurance companies total so many of them out. Lots of hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started calling around to see who could help in a pinch and give us a&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>fast turn around. The motor shipped out to CA and should start the rebuild&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/IO009v5z--hBkFMjNGzhkfF244b-aSWEx91nNoQwmgA6LYz3m_NvVKAgUNuzxwX4ZOCMz5W6V5cEfuOLTiY_1HD_GZSiraC-QcVa5d0JhIOYxeELU9WDqyp0fPf3lWYtKxqhX4Cj\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>process on Monday.
