( 8-28-2021 )"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Texplex Round 7 really started off the day after round 6.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/uYgs7sySbHHqM93n9dBhg5H2wkjfwPkL6BbYWSEoRBuii_YnQM4Fw6wGa3v_tJwJqJ4ScTujMVDFXWTnAYIkBs_t9ZxyLcH87Rq6Px2ZHlA27mVjbBFNcv5DRaa_BbyGnsGruUL7=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We got the car all washed up still on the trailer as we had no way to even&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>get it off. Then we headed to TurnKey Industries to see the Owner Joe&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nepoleon. Joe was kind enough to help us make sure the frame was&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>straight and help us get things back into shape. Adam at JSportsxs&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>got to making suspension parts first thing Monday morning so they could<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>get them out to us. Tuesday morning David and David at Progressive&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PowerSports put the order into Honda so we could get those parts coming&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>also. I called and talked to Aaron at ABF fabrication about the cage and&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>getting a new one. Everything came together and the last piece of the&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>puzzle was brake lines from George at Double E Racing.&nbsp; Then getting&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it on the Motive Engineering plates to make sure everything was back&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>straight and true.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/sCM3HLWVRSNTaNoNqY9H2-uUb1JtuxtFqT1NIsqPAFnl0doNWZksSgFZ-nzHZQm2juKZ_rXeudqdGZM7hVe-4zNvnaQ2m0tqrJiQ5q7Fy9Vf7ty83UjQ2MEP-CSWK0tzrECgMzx3=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We made it. It was race day for Round 7 of the Texas Outlaw Series.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/LncrQDVnGeGiXrREVUXfK1oA5cIMlSjioD4nNF0LnkrmT2RnNYbrPdGPNQe-8bti0xRvRhvubLYhx1k3OrRV38b-gEnA6IVkEFiYEk3Y6dUhMBl3VOjlz3uDx1NlO1M51ssM1eFL=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 7 was the Max Brill Memorial race and Maxxed Performance was&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sponsoring the Vet class for the day. ( Max loved racing and I am sure he&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was looking down enjoying every minute of it )&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/Gm1WBWNPjRGlCskvUyQdq62TI2PsOrWepbOq0qdRiKynHnbHZb4Xhp2HzFagDu5WGG96Wk4Oc0SoKtpkmw9jT036Z2JGiDCqlcaU-bmecXSMYxgNEaUrs_6Ihp0rLeExJcJXEYwH=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First up for me was the 12+ 1000 Limited class. I was in third off the start&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and started to push to get to the front. By the fourth lap I was in the lead&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>with lots of pressure from behind. I stayed focused and was able to hold&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>them off for the win.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/onzLXOACsirvl4oJ2-_xZYLC8DWJLhOxt-ENqSFz9hTWXuAUtmRl3GTHKG7Rmvlw7Pl6U4bZvOjhj-Su3L7P5uIReaP4-nwbUZLca4bOww9UZdzEajx5WB4xoMEfy1OdIjJgrQo-=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>( Photo Credit <a href=\"mailto:harlenfoley@hotmail.com\">Harlen Foley<\/a> )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next up was the 12+ 1000 STK class. I went into turn one in second place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was pushing really hard and Jace was staying in front of me. I was&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>studying his line and where he was strong. We were the third drop for this&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>race so as we were racing we were also passing through the womens&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>amature racers.&nbsp; I was coming up on one of them right as we were going to&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>hit Mount Medilotian. The largest Jump on the track. My dad said the track&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>is 30 feet wide don\u2019t lift.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/VbL8qSk1-kMuKiJQwRiUnTkh9FFd2S9wic8BGfVBGOCSBK1OUC56_PnNf97tY2ku3gJDMQqLEZrA4xjLaVpwFLr4HXGU8SP1p3eN4CZB9VHII5QV3vWfcJvLoEQrJwSpWPN3eniN=s0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>( So cool Harlen was able to get this photo )&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then on lap three I saw my break. I made an outside pass to put myself&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>into first. Jace stayed right with me the rest of the race pushing me the&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>entire way. It was so much fun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next race for me was back to the 12+ 1000 Limited class. I new this race&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>was going to be tough. There are a lot of good young drivers in it. I am also&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>running my same STK class Honda Talon in this race so I am down a little&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>on HP and stability. But no complaining. I was able to get into 2nd by the end of the&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>second lap. Kaden was in the lead and pulling away. I pushed as hard as I&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>could setting my fastest lap of the weekend in this race. Kaden was driving&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>awesome running really fast laps and I was not able to real him in. I ended&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>up with a 1-2 score and Kaden with a 2-1. So the overall would go to&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaden. The 12+ 1000 STK class. I&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>pulled the holeshot and never looked back. I stayed focused on picking the&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>womens amatuer racers off one at a time.
